Back To The Future

Marty McFly returns to the present day to help save his grandson from a very familiar bully named 'Biff'! Will Marty be able to save him, and return back to the 80's before his time is up? Film Skills presents a not for profit film created by our Key Stage 4 learners at Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn. Pen-y-Bryn is a special school based in Swansea for pupils aged 3-19 years old

Knight Must Fall

Hunted! In the wake of order 66, the Jedi are scattered across the galaxy, fighting for their lives against the Galactic Empire. After the death of her master, a young padawan, Aura, her training incomplete, fled from the Jedi home-world of Coruscant. Taking with her the few younglings she could save, she hid them on an abandoned, desolate world, while she searched for the remaining .....

The Mystery Box

A group of Year 5 children discover a mysterious rusty old box in the school garden, filled with amazing treasures worth millions of pounds. The children soon discover that the objects carry a terrible curse, and find out that some things are better left buried! Created by and starring the Year 5 learners at Swiss Valley Primary (Llanelli) as part of the Summer Term 2024 Film Skills Outreach programme.

Home Alone: School's Out!

Harry & Marv are back, and this time they are on their way to Pen-y-Bryn! Can Kevin and friends stop the terrible two from stealing the school iPads? Created by our Key Stage 3 learners at Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn Special School Swansea, as part of the Summer Term 2023 Film Skills project. This is a not for profit project created by our Film Skills groups at school as part of their Film Skills project.

Extinct

A school trip to a forest soon leads to the discovery of a lifetime. Featuring work by our Key Stage 5 Work Experience group, and an exclusive music soundtrack by Molly Stacey. This is the first Film Skills Originals project, featuring an original script and ideas by the learners at Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn.

Hand Of The Mummy

Pen-y-Bryn school receive some rare Egyptian artefacts from a local museum. In amongst the artefacts is the dreaded 'Hand Of The Mummy', which comes to life and causes havoc at the school! This project was created by the Key Stage 5 Film Skills group as part of their Spring Term 2024 project. Featuring an original script, and ideas by the learners at Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn.
